In 2023, "Wakamono in Kansai," a significant event held in Kansai, Japan, was comprised of two major activities: the "Wakamono Festival," a theater performance participated in by 1,200 college students, and a 3-day "Wakamono Camp" attended by 300 students. As the chairman of this expansive project, I led a team of 41 committee members, overseeing a broad range of tasks including marketing, public relations, planning, and operations, while dedicating our efforts to risk management to ensure the event's success.

　Our endeavors bore fruit as the "Wakamono Festival" tickets sold out, drawing an audience of 1,200. The "Wakamono Camp" also concluded with great success, achieving a satisfaction rating of 4.6/5. Behind this success was my contribution as part of the creative team. I significantly aided in attracting participants through creating the website, pamphlets, opening movies, and various flyers. Our content captivated many college students, drawing them to our event.

　From this experience, I learned that leading a large-scale project to success requires a clear vision, meticulous planning, and a unified team effort. The importance of risk management was also reinforced, understanding how to minimize uncertainties and safely guide a project to success is essential for any leader. Lastly, I realized the immense value that a creative approach can bring. The "Wakamono in Kansai" event became an unforgettable experience for many students and was a pivotal project that contributed to my personal growth.

　In the naturally rich Kannabe region of Hyogo Prefecture, I have engaged annually in spring, summer, and winter as the outdoor activities coordinator for camps designed for elementary school students. This event transitions from a four-month preparation period to a 3-night, 4-day camp execution phase. During the preparation, efforts begin with creating plans to offer dynamic experiences in nature to the children, devising exciting presentations, and preparing the necessary equipment, with detailed planning throughout.

　Throughout the actual camp period, my focus is entirely on ensuring the children enjoy the outdoor activities fully. This responsible role allowed me to experience the joy of closely observing the children's smiles and growth, developing adaptability, team-building skills, and, above all, cherishing the moments of their happiness and progress.

　Having participated in a total of six camps, each welcomed children with different themes and activities. In each camp, I endeavored to match each participating child's unique personality and interests, contributing to new discoveries in nature, the budding of friendships, and the enhancement of self-esteem.

　The adaptability, team-building skills, and project management capabilities gained through these camps have equipped me to handle any situation in the future. Moreover, the time spent with the children has been an opportunity to nurture deep empathy and insight as a person. I aim to leverage this experience to make valuable contributions in future engagements with many people.

　When the coronavirus changed the world and university shifted online, a new realm of possibilities opened up for me. Realizing that all I needed was a pocket Wi-Fi to attend classes from anywhere, I embarked on an unplanned journey around Japan, packing my life into my car. This solo trip was more than an adventure; it was a trial that tested my limits, teaching me patience, resilience, and the ability to thrive in any situation.

　Yet, the journey was not without its dangers. An unexpected snowfall near Yufuin in Kyushu led to a slip accident that could have ended fatally. Miraculously, I emerged unscathed, with only the car suffering damage. This incident underscored the importance of preemptive risk management and reaffirmed my luck.

　The gains from this journey are immeasurable. The freedom to attend classes from anywhere, the strength to overcome the challenges of unknown territories, and, most importantly, the time spent in introspection have become invaluable assets in my life. Through this experience, I've become stronger, more adaptable, and ready to face any challenge. The crisis brought on by COVID-19 propelled me on a journey to carve out a new path for myself.

　During my sophomore year in college, I had the opportunity to be involved in the launch of a student-exclusive space within "whatever," a newly opened coworking space in Shimogamo, Kyoto. This experience transcended a mere part-time job. It began with meetings about interior design, planning various networking events (like gaming competitions, board game nights, and movie screenings) to attract students, and designing flyers and pricing tables for outreach.

　What I particularly focused on in this project was creating a space where students could freely interact and learn from each other. I devised each event to foster lively communication among participants. The insights gained from this experience on attracting an audience, energizing events, and designing appealing interiors became valuable know-how that can be applied to future projects.

　Through this practical experience, I learned the joy of bringing creative ideas to life and their power to attract people. My activities at the coworking space "whatever" represented a new challenge and an opportunity for personal growth. Moving forward, I aspire to leverage this experience to collaboratively create something valuable with others.

　Playing futsal once a month has brought me value beyond just a sports activity. Wearing the number 2 jersey and standing on the pitch as a member of the futsal team has allowed me to reappreciate the importance of exercise and has also provided a valuable opportunity to deepen relationships with team members.

　Through our regular monthly activities, not only has my physical fitness improved, but it has also been beneficial for relieving everyday stress and providing a change of pace. Furthermore, futsal serves as a platform for deepening bonds between people. Through games, I have come to understand the personalities and strengths of each member, learning the importance of cooperation within the team. Beyond the outcomes of the matches, it has been possible to build trust and friendships with members.

　My time as a Creative Team Leader during the Tech Ocean internship marked a significant step in my career. In this role, I was responsible for designing various media, including websites, banners, flyers, and Instagram posts. Our goal was to ensure that each design clearly communicated its intended message, necessitating careful attention to detail right from the requirement definition phase.

　The internship presented specific challenges, particularly in task management with multiple projects running concurrently and the difficulties of online communication. Moreover, I worked on developing business skills such as building interpersonal relationships within the team, project management, and learning efficient communication methods. Utilizing tools like Slack and Notion helped us overcome these challenges and enhance our team's productivity.

　This experience deeply ingrained in me the importance of not just creating visually appealing designs but tackling the essential task of effectively conveying messages. I also learned the significance of managing multiple tasks efficiently and honing online communication skills. Furthermore, I realized that building relationships within a team and mastering project management skills are crucial for business success.

　The Tech Ocean internship was not merely a temporary job for me but a learning opportunity that significantly impacts my future career. The role of Creative Team Leader brought many responsibilities but also provided numerous opportunities for growth. This experience has instilled in me the courage to face challenges head-on and continuously move forward.

　Music is an indispensable element of my life and deeply rooted as a means of self-expression. During my high school years, I was part of the music club, and playing the acoustic guitar became my hobby. Later, in my freshman year of college, I also ventured into DJing, further deepening my connection with music. I can play the guitar, ukulele, drums, beatbox, and a bit of piano. Playing these instruments goes beyond just a hobby for me; it's a way to express myself and share emotions.

　Through music, I've also come to understand the importance of diversity and the beauty of music that arises from different cultures and backgrounds. Music is a universal language that connects people worldwide, and through its power, we can unite beyond our differences.

　Music has given me confidence and taught me the freedom of expression. It is a key component that shapes me, and it will continue to play a central role in my life. With music by my side, I am always discovering and continuously growing.
